Gaelic 4 All

In 2017 the St Colmcilles ‘Gaelic 4 All’ initiative was launched. The brainchild of coach Ken McHutcheon (current Ladies Vice-Chair), this very special initiative was set-up for children of any age with additional or complex needs. Their main objective was to include children who could not take part in a typical team game, assisting them with ball skills, exercise and of course, fun and enjoyment in a safe environment.

The group is child centred with emphasis on fun and socialisation and as such we make sure to keep our children and young people safe when they come to the sessions. All of our coaches adhere to best practice, are Garda vetted and have received Child Protection training. The session takes place on our small astro pitch which is secure and safe from car park traffic.
